It’s free
Free to list. Free to browse. Free to contact an owner. We take no commission and no cut of your rental.

- Commission on a rental
- Nothing — we are not part of it
- Featured or boosted listings
- Not offered
So how does this survive?
Advertising, eventually. There are two ad slots on the site — one in search results and one on a listing page — and they are labelled. No pop-ups, no full-screen takeovers, no selling your contact details to anyone. The money the rental itself involves is between you and the other person, and it never passes through us.
Because we do not take a cut, we also do not hold your money, and that is worth knowing before you deal with someone: there is no escrow to fall back on and no refund we could issue. Read the safety guide before you meet anyone.
Will it stay free?
Listing and contacting will stay free — that is the point of the product, and a hyperlocal marketplace that charges before it has density simply dies. If we ever add a paid option it would be something extra alongside the free version, and we would say so here first rather than changing the terms quietly.
